Project Overview

Project Overview

The Windows Collaboration Display (WCD) from Sharp is a 70" 4K interactive display designed for modern meeting spaces. It combines Sharp’s advanced touch technology with built-in IoT sensors (temperature, air quality, humidity, etc.) and integrates seamlessly with Microsoft’s ecosystem (Azure, Teams) to create smarter, more connected workplaces.

Challenge

Challenge

Developed by a small cross-functional team (<10) with limited resources, the project required close collaboration across Sharp, Microsoft, and hardware/software teams. With few industry references, UX decisions were driven by research, user testing, and real-world feedback, while addressing key ergonomic and spatial challenges such as screen visibility, interaction blocking, and physical movement during use.

What I Did

What I Did

In the early stage, our sub-10-person team handled end-to-end product development, with everyone taking on multiple roles. I was involved across the full process, focusing on UX research, user journeys, information architecture, and delivering complete UI solutions including the design system, prototypes, and animations.

In parallel, I designed two enterprise platforms that enable businesses to remotely manage and control their devices efficiently.
